We are inviting entries for the Kerry Group Irish Fiction Award. This award is for the best work of fiction by an Irish author (i.e. first generation Irish) published between 1st March 2009 and 1st March 2010 with a prize fund for the winning author of €15,000, the largest prize in Ireland for a work of fiction by an Irish Author.

The award will be presented at the Official Opening Ceremony of Writer's Week, on the 2nd June 2010. Our adjudicators this year are award winning author Giles Foden and actress Kate O'Toole.

We will require eight (8) copies of each book submitted for this award. The closing date for receipt of books is Friday 5th March 2010.

As our adjudicators have a huge amount of books to read we would really appreciate it if you would please send all eligible books published to date immediately.

Books due to be published between now and the end of February should be sent to us as soon as they become available. A short-list of five (5) will be announced in April 2010.
