Matt Mooney was born in South Galway. He later moved to Listowel where he was a teacher for many years. His first collection of poems Droving was launched at Writers' Week 2003. This year he has followed up on his earlier works with a new collection entitled Falling Apples.
Neil Brosnan is the holder of All Ireland and World Fleadh Cheoil Medals. He has been writing short stories for about ten years and won the Writers' Week Bryan MacMahon Short Story Award in 2004. Neil's work has been published in anthologies and magazines throughout Ireland. Fresh Water & Other Stories is his first collection.
