From the director of The Chorus/Les Choristes, Paris 36 is a glitzy drama set in Paris in 1936. When the local music hall closes due to financial problems the employees decide to take it over and run it for nothing. An enjoyable film which at times is reminiscent of Cinema Paradiso.
