Anne Haverty's works include a biography of Constance Markievicz and a collection of poems, The Beauty of The Moon. Her novels are One Day As A Tiger, The Far Side Of A Kiss and The Free And Easy.  She has won the Rooney Prize and was shortlisted for the Whitbread and The Far Side Of A Kiss was longlisted for the Booker. She was born in Holycross, Co Tipperary and now lives in Dublin with her husband, the writer Anthony Cronin.
