Mary Lavery Carrig studied at the Mater Dei Institute and at the Marino Institute of Education, Dublin. 'Rich Pickings' is her first poetry collection and was published in 2007. Mary lives with her young family in their native Tarbert, is a member of Seanachaí Writers’ Group and is currently preparing a second collection.
