Rules

1. An entry form is NOT required for this competition.

2. Entries must not have been previously published.

3. Entries must be typed.

4. Entries must be a maximum of 3,000 words.

5. Entries will NOT be returned.

6. No indication of entrant's identity may appear on the competition entry. (Please submit your name and address details on a seperate sheet).

7. Entries must be in Irish or in English/Is féidir iontrálacha a bheith i mBéarla nó i nGaeilge.

8. Please identify the category of Entry as "Bryan MacMahon Short Story Award".

9. The Entry Fee must be included with each individual entry, otherwise the entry will not be forwarded to the Adjudicator.

10. An unlimited number of entries may be submitted for this competition.

11. The Adjudicator's verdict is final.

12. Winners ONLY will be notified.

13. No correspondence shall be entered into regarding competition entries.

14. Awards may not be presented where an appropriate standard is not achieved.

15. Writers' Week reserves the right to withhold or publish winning entries in the publication "Winners Anthology".

16. All cheques should be made payable to "Writers Week". Please do not send cash.
