Deirdre Crowley was born in Bandon, Co Cork. She graduated from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin and has exhibited her work extensively since graduation. The Irish landscape and music are a constant source of inspiration, working her ideas through paint, pastel and print in her studio. She has exhibited with Galleries world-wide. In 1996, she was prize-winner in the "Young Belfast Contemporaries Competition". In 1999 she was selected as one of six artists published in the Laing Landscape 2000 Calendar and is currently part of the OPW Collection which is touring many galleries throughout the country. |
